A key question facing developers in crypto has always been: what chain should I deploy on? What if, instead of choosing a chain (or chains) to build on, you could build cross-chain applications that leverage the liquidity and user bases of all the underlying rollups and platforms? This is talk will dive into how Espresso is breaking open the design space for cross-chain apps, fueled by fast transaction finality enabling new levels of composability across the whole Ethereum rollup ecosystem and beyond.
Jill is a cofounder of Espresso Systems and serves as Chief Strategy Officer. She has led the growth of the Espresso ecosystem to include dozens of integrating applications, hundreds of millions in total value secured, and many multiples of transactions per second relative to Ethereum's blockchain. Jill started her career in fixed income at Goldman Sachs. She has worked in the blockchain industry for 10 years, including consulting for the International Monetary Fund. She has appeared regularly on Bloomberg and CNBC in the New York Times and the Financial Times. She holds a MSc, Oxford and AB, Harvard.
