This talk explores how privacy has always existed as an economic gradient—expensive to adjust and largely implicit in analog markets—and how crypto flattened that gradient into total transparency. It examines how complete visibility changes market behavior through mechanisms such as Goodhart’s Law, reflexivity, and the observer effect, and argues that information sovereignty—the ability to control what can be seen—is emerging as crypto’s next scaling dimension
